Could you be our next Insights Architect? Globe Life is looking for an Insights Architect to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, producing business insights from research and analysis, and presenting your findings to key stakeholders that support strategic decision-making across the organization. In addition to a broad understanding of business strategy and operations, this position requires a deep technical skill set, including expertise in data analysis, proficiency in SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI. The ideal candidate will have a background in management consulting and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
While each project starts with deep data analysis, the Insights Architect differs from a pure data analyst in that they focus more on the meaning and implications of data, while data analysts tend to focus more on numbers and statistics. To be successful in this role you will: Conduct research to understand the topic being evaluated, gather data from multiple sources, analyze data to identify trends and patterns, use data visualization techniques and statistical analysis to translate data into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders on their strategic plans based on the insights you have shared with them.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Build and develop strong stakeholder relationships across the company, ability to influence without authority.
- Design and develop reporting and visualization that support Globe’s business insights initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams throughout Globe to identify business needs and develop insights-driven solutions.
- Apply advanced analysis techniques to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Design, conduct, and interpret the results of surveys of agents, customers, partners, and/or employees.
What You Can Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business Administration, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience performing in business analysis or project management.
- Business acumen and a foundational understanding and comfort with principles of financial services industry.
- Able to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Display a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement, open to feedback.
- Highly proficient in creating insights from large, complex data sets.
- Able to use SQL to query and extract data from a variety of sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Experience with survey techniques and using a platform such as Qualtrics.
- Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Management consulting experience preferred.
