Fraud Alert

Consumer Safety Alert

Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam where individuals impersonate legitimate recruiters or companies to exploit job seekers. These scammers create fake job listings, conduct false interviews, and extend fraudulent job offers, all to extract personal information or money from their victims. We take this issue very seriously and are dedicated to helping you recognize and report these fraudulent schemes.

To help protect yourself, avoid responding to unsolicited employment offers that claim to be from Globe Life. We will never ask for personal information before you have first applied through our official career site. Only those who apply through our career site are eligible for employment with Globe Life.

How to Identify Recruitment Fraud

To help protect yourself, be on the lookout for these critical warning signs:

  • Unprompted Contact About Job Applications: Although Globe Life recruiters may contact potential qualified candidates about open positions, be cautious if you're contacted about a job application you never submitted. Scammers may falsely claim you've applied for a position.
  • Payment Requests: Globe Life will never ask you for payment to process or assist with employment applications. If you’re asked to pay for any part of the recruitment process, it’s a scam.
  • Unsolicited Requests for Personal Information: Be wary if asked to provide sensitive details like passport information, credit card numbers, or banking details.
  • Third-Party Contact Requests: Scammers may ask you to reach out to other companies or individuals, such as lawyers, bank officials, travel agencies, credit card companies, courier services, or visa/immigration agencies.
  • Urgent Action Demands: Scammers often create a sense of urgency, pressuring you to act quickly on their correspondence or offer.
