Giving back to the communities where we live, work and serve is part of our purpose-driven mission at Globe Life. We support a variety of charities and are committed to making a difference within the lives of those in and around our community through both monetary and hands-on support.
Our charitable contributions fall into our three areas of focus; underserved youth and families, low-income or struggling Seniors, and programs that promote health and wellness. Take a look at some of the organizations we supported last year.
Youth & Families
Family Health Center, Harvest for Hunger, Make a Wish, Pack of Hope, North Texas Food Bank, and many more
Underserved Seniors
Meals On Wheels, The Senior Source, Elderly Housing Development, and many more
Health & Wellness
American Heart Association, Kidney Cancer Coalition, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and many more
One of the largest donations in Company history was the donation of our Lake Tenkiller property to NewView Oklahoma. NewView Oklahoma is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1949 with a mission to empower people who are blind and visually impaired to achieve their maximum level of independence through employment, low vision rehabilitation, and community outreach. The corporate meeting facility, complete with a caretaker’s cottage and guest house, sits on a 3-acre waterfront property valued at $1.8 million.
