Primary Duties & Responsibilities

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager PM to join the Enterprise Strategy Realization Organizational Change Management (OCM) Team.    Reporting to the SR Change Manager/Leader will partner and collaborate with OCM Committee Members, Program Sponsors, Champions, Program and Project Managers, vendors, and other Change Managers to support large-scale Enterprise Strategy Realization change management efforts for business-critical programs within the portfolio to ensure successful adoption. This individual will be proficient in working in flexible work environments, modeling effective teamwork, and working within the Globe Life culture.

 This position offers multiple work arrangements onsite, hybrid, or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the role's responsibilities and business needs.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assess, coordinate, develop, and maintain a holistic and integrated strategy for change across different project work streams of a program following Globe Life OCM methods and standards.
  • Coordinate change approaches, plans, and activities with other Program and Project Managers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with change planning and execution.
  • Engage and coach program/project team members on change management activities, including change strategy development, stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, communication and engagement planning, adoption and sustainment plans, and effectiveness measures to support project success.
  • Partner with the program/project team to identify and develop sustainment plans, activities, and additional sustainment requisites to successfully engage employees, licensed agents, and future owners in the new ways of working.
  • Utilize OCM established methods, tools, and processes for Change Management and Project Management, adapting where necessary.
  • Influence and respectively challenge decision makers and the organization to create strategies for disruption, breakthroughs, transformation, and innovation and break down limiting barriers that could block the introduction of new ways of working.
  • Design and facilitate change management engagements to drive towards alignment and effective end outcomes.
  • Oversee, Produce and/or Perform Activities:
  • Deliver a right-sized change management strategy and approach for initiatives utilizing and following the established OCM framework and standards.
  • Partner and collaborate with the Program or Project Manager to organize and develop a change management project schedule of deliverables, activities, and milestones that are integrated into an overall master schedule.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, drive, and lead all change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner and collaborate directly with Corporate Communications and Marketing and HR Training Teams to create and execute communications and training plans as defined by the change management program/project.
  • Provide change management consulting, coaching, and mentorship at all altitudes of the organization to help define the future state, identify, and overcome barriers to success, and enable an intelligent, smooth change management process.
  • As applicable, provide vendor management oversight, direction, and leadership for system or business integrators bringing change management into the Enterprise.

  • High level of competency in using and leveraging the Microsoft Office Suite of products to enhance productivity, communication, and collaboration. 
  • High level competency in project management methodology, standards, and processes with an organizational change management (OCM) lens to include but not limited to strategic planning, task and timeline management, resource allocation, risk assessment and mitigation communication, and stakeholder management problem-solving, quality assurance, and adaptability and flexibility.
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving by swiftly addressing conflicts, removing roadblocks, and taking decision action to ensure project momentum. 
  • Self-directed leader who values collaboration to contribute to a positive team dynamic, with a focus on continuous improvement and resource optimization.

Work Environment/ Other Information

  • Minimal travel may be required.
  • In-office or voluntary remote opportunities exist for this position, though frequent onsite meetings may be required to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (BA), change management, a related field, or equivalent-related experience. MBA in IS or other master’s degree preferred.
  • 7 - 10 years of Change Management experience with professional certification (Prosci or CCMP)
  • 7 - 10 years of Project Management experience with professional certification (e.g., PMP)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience applying organization effectiveness and change management expertise, including stakeholder management, leadership alignment, communications, engagement, and change impact assessment.
  • Experience implementing ERP or other large-scale digital systems along with large business process changes.
  • Significant experience in effectively planning, organizing, and developing coordinated stakeholder management, change management, and communications in order to achieve business outcomes across a program or portfolio of projects, including designing and facilitating working sessions, workshops, and/or other types of engagements, both live and virtual.
  • Deep understanding and demonstrated ability to manage complexity to create clarity of scope for ambiguous projects and uncover important issues.
  • Expertise with change and project management principles and tools, especially in how to use them in a large, complex digital deployment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated, directive, and able to work and motivate others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and effectively influence stakeholders to adopt new ways of working in a virtual global environment.
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office & Teams.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) - Our FSA has two components, Health Care and Dependent Care Accounts. These accounts allow employees to set aside a portion of their earnings on a pre-tax basis to cover out-of-pocket medical and dependent care expenses. Participation is elected on a calendar year basis and is available to all eligible employees the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of continuous service.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) - A pre-tax Health Spending Account (HSA) is offered to those who enroll in the High Deductible Plan. It allows you to pay for health care expenses. Participation is elected on a calendar year basis and is available to all eligible employees the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of continuous service. Company contributes to HSA.

Short-Term Disability - Eligible employees may be entitled to salary continuance during periods of temporary disability. Benefits are based on employee status and years of service.*

Group Life and Long-Term Disability** - Eligible employees may elect life insurance and long-term disability coverage the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service.

Vacation and Paid Holidays - Employees are eligible for vacation upon the completion of six months of employment. In addition, the Company offers eight paid holidays.

Education Assistance - The Company supports employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers. We offer a reimbursement program for expenses incurred through approved institutions of learning. In addition, Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and International Claim Association (ICA) program courses are offered after the completion of six months of services at no cost to the employee.

Fitness Reimbursement - Eligible employees are able to receive up to 100% reimbursement for monthly dues (employee only).
