Role Overview:

Could you be our next AP Costing Specialist? Globe Life is looking for an AP Costing Specialist to join the team!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in all areas for GMS. This includes processing invoices for payment for accounts payables, creating costing reports for fulfillments and direct to consumer campaigns, creating monthly financial reporting for upper management, producing monthly invoices for Globe to be reimbursed for presort services and postage expenses, producing monthly invoices for GMS to be reimbursed for in-house printing and letter shop services along with overhead expenses to operate GMS. This position is also required to create mailing reports/instructions for direct-to-consumer campaigns and maintain the fulfillment database for each mailing cycle to create the fulfillment mailing bible.

 

This is a hybrid position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Request Daily/weekly (or as needed) postage for ALL Globe Life Inc. companies – Meter, permit mailings from Globe Marketing Services (GMS)/American Income Marketing Services (AIMS).
  • Invoice Processing – Ensuring to code invoices to proper expense account associated with purchases made at GMS and AIMS.
  • Processing Invoices – Ensure all invoices are processed for payment in a timely manner in accordance with the Globe Life’s SOX narrative.
  • Review the monthly postage tracking reports for Globe Life Inc. companies.
  • Create and distribute monthly postage and presort invoices for Globe Life Inc. companies.
  • Create and maintain monthly postage reporting from Globe Life Inc. companies or upper management.
  • Create and track monthly invoicing of outside purchases associated purchases made at GMS and AIMS.
  • Create and distribute monthly Direct to Consumer invoices for services provided by GMS and AIMS.
  • Create and distribute monthly American Income Life (AIL) PR Leads invoices for services provided by AIMS summaries.
  • Monthly financial/volume reporting per union group for AIL PR Leads mailings.
  • Monthly financial/volume reporting for Globe, GMS, and AIMS for upper management.
  • Detailed Monthly reporting for GMS, and AIMS by department to determine profit/loss in each department for upper management.
  • Quality control on all job jackets for all AIL leads jobs for mailings/distributions. 
  • Create monthly supplement reports for AIL Leads business for roll forward/meter balancing.
  • Monthly reconciliation reports of all expense accounts used by AIL leads programs.
  • Responsible for Globe Life Inc. businesses postage reporting.
  • Responsible for distributing PDFs out of Central Processing System (CPS) software package to GMS Pre-press for jobs produced on the Jet Press.
  • Costing Reporting on Direct-to-Consumer Campaigns to identify successful packages for future mailings.
  • Create mailing reports for Direct-to-Consumer Campaigns that identifies what components are used in each package of every mailing.
  • Update and maintain the Fulfillment database to ensure the fulfillment bible is accurate.
  • Greet visitors and inform appropriate parties of their arrival.
  • Order office supplies for company and maintain adequate stock of same.
  • Fill in if needed in Lobby for the Admin Assistant.
  • Perform any other task or duties deemed necessary by Management.

 

What You Can Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Must have 3-5 years of Account Payables Experience.
  • Must have 3-5 years of Executive Management Reporting Experience.
  • Must have 3-5 years of Mainframe/Database Experience.
  • Must have 3-5 years of General Computer Skills.
  • Must have 3-5 years of MS Office Products Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must have good Oral, Written, and Computer Communications Skills.
  • Must be able to read and write in a neat and accurate manner.
  • Must be able to prioritize task and duties in a timely manner.
  • Strong accounting background with extensive experience working with accounting software.
  • Printer Software Inc. and Lawson preferred, but not required.
  • Good Customer Service Skills.

Savings and Investment Plan (401K) - Eligible employees may begin participating in the plan on the first day of employment.

Pension Plan - Eligible employees who complete one year of service with the Company become participants in the Pension.* (Not available to Cleveland Employees)

Medical - Benefits are available to all eligible employees and qualified dependents the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service.

Dental** and Vision - Eligible employees and qualified dependents are able to enroll the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) - Our FSA has two components, Health Care and Dependent Care Accounts. These accounts allow employees to set aside a portion of their earnings on a pre-tax basis to cover out-of-pocket medical and dependent care expenses. Participation is elected on a calendar year basis and is available to all eligible employees the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of continuous service.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) - A pre-tax Health Spending Account (HSA) is offered to those who enroll in the High Deductible Plan. It allows you to pay for health care expenses. Short-Term Disability - Eligible employees may be entitled to salary continuance during periods of temporary disability. Benefits are based on employee status and years of service.*
