Dress for Your Day

We have a “Dress for your Day” policy at each of our campuses. Employees can wear casual attire during the workweek such as jeans and t-shirts, and are expected to wear professional business casual clothing if meeting with clients, vendors, Company executives and the like.

Boo Bash

Of the many events Globe Life hosts, Boo Bash is a popular favorite. During this Halloween event, the Company summons the highest level of creativity to participate in a costume and skit contest in addition to a fall festival get-together.

Corporate Challenge

Every year, hundreds of Globe Life employees trade in their work clothes for athletic clothes to show incredible team spirit and contribute to a great cause. The Corporate Challenge is a professionally run, volunteer-driven, Olympic-style competition involving up to 25 athletic and non-athletic events held in late August through early October.

Employees from various top DFW employers come together to compete in a 10-week competition composed of various sporting events. Proceeds collected, fundraised, and donated at The Corporate Challenge go back to Special Olympics Texas.

In 2018, Globe Life Gladiators won the Division A/AA Tailgate Award at the Opening Ceremony! The Tailgate Award is presented to the company with the best spirit, engagement with the crowd and booth in each Division. Not only do we have bragging rights for winning our Division, our Globe Life Gladiator team also received a commemorative tailgate which is hanging in the employee eating area.

Our charitable contributions fall into our three areas of focus; underserved youth and families, low-income or struggling Seniors, and programs that promote health and wellness. Take a look at some of the organizations we supported last year.

One of the largest donations in Company history was the donation of our Lake Tenkiller property to NewView Oklahoma. NewView Oklahoma is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1949 with a mission to empower people who are blind and visually impaired to achieve their maximum level of independence through employment, low vision rehabilitation, and community outreach. The corporate meeting facility, complete with a caretaker’s cottage and guest house, sits on a 3-acre waterfront property valued at $1.8 million.

Globe Life Field

In 2014, Globe Life and the Texas Rangers launched a new relationship that shares a common bond: families and baseball. Baseball remains America’s favorite family pastime, and the Texas Rangers will continue its tradition of providing fun for the entire family at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Globe Life is proud to be the official life insurance Company of the Texas Rangers.

Globe Life and the Texas Rangers have extended the naming rights agreement for their ballpark through 2048. The new retractable-roof stadium opened in 2020.

In July 2019, Globe Life was named the Official Life Insurance of the Dallas Cowboys. We are only the 10th official partner of the Dallas Cowboys, alongside companies including AT&T, Ford, and Pepsi, and the only life insurance partner for the team. The Cowboys are the world’s most valuable franchise across all sports, according to Forbes. We are excited about the opportunities to partner with the Cowboys and continue to Make Tomorrow Better in our communities.

Globe Life is proud to team with FC Dallas, a Major League Soccer (MLS) team and sponsor the organization’s Special Olympics team. Globe Life collaborates with FC Dallas to make a truly extraordinary experience for the Olympians by sponsoring FC Dallas Community Soccer Clinics for children. Additionally, our organizations help with a program that involves impromptu player appearances and pick up soccer games throughout the community.

“At Globe Life, we believe life insurance is a selfless act. Therefore, we love to support the community through programs like this because it’s simply an extension of what Globe Life and our customers are about — being selfless.” said Globe Life’s Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing and Branding, Corey Jones.

To help support our mission of giving back to communities we serve, Globe Life proudly sponsors the Allen Americans, an ECHL ice hockey team based in Allen, Texas. Our sponsorship allows us to strengthen our relationship with the Collin County community by enjoying one of America’s favorite sports, just minutes from our home town.
