Role Overview:

Could you be our next Director, Liberty Sales Support? Globe Life is looking for a Director, Liberty Sales Support to join the team!

This role plays a critical role in enabling the sales team to achieve its targets, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term scalability and growth. This role bridges across all operational functions to ensure smooth execution, optimizes and matures functions, and works to ensure long-term scalability and efficiency.  This role works closely with executive management to support strategic planning and status on inflight strategic initiatives.  In addition, this role will have a strong field-facing presence, creating business processes to ensure timely and accurate responses to requests.  Establishing operational excellence through business process maturity, identifying areas for automation, working closely with Enterprise Reporting to ensure data needs are met, and coordinating requests across functions will enable this role to be successful. 

This is a Remote/WFH position

What You Will Do:

  • Process & Infrastructure Development: Establish and refine sales support processes, develop systems and tools (in conjunction with internal partners where applicable), and build a stable operational infrastructure to support and streamline sales activities
  • Resource Planning: Ensure sales teams have the necessary tools, training, and resources to be successful
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee operational functions, identify operational issues, identify and implement solutions, and work with Enterprise Reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Promotional & Incentive Planning: Oversee and execute promotional events to boost sales volume, ensuring proper communications, reporting and execution
  • Strategic Input: Provide input to executive leadership on functional area design, decisions, budget development, and strategic initiatives
  • Leadership: Manage matrixed teams as required, resolve escalated issues, and coordinate with other departments as required
  • Collaboration: Work with internal partners to align strategies, roadmaps, metrics, resources and data needs.  Work with the field to surface issues and opportunities for consideration
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track sales support metrics, report on team productivity, lead continuous improvement initiatives and work with senior leadership to enhance sales results
  • Leadership Support: Provide direct executive leadership support as requested
  • Transformation: Perform as an active member of the business and technology pilot and roll-out team
  • Communications: Develop, oversee and communicate key initiative status to executive management
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Can Bring:

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of corporate experience
  • 1+ years insurance industry experience
  • Understanding of the insurance industry
  • Understanding of Liberty’s growth drivers:
    • Recruiting, Training, and Leadership development
  • Strong customer support skills, able to see things through to resolution
  • Ability to clearly communicate in ways that lead to action
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in an agile manner and change direction frequently if needed
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think independently
  • Understands how to use AI for business purposes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Work, Outlook)
