Role Overview:
Could you be our next Proposal Analyst? Globe Life is looking for a Proposal Analyst to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Proposal Manager, Contract Management, IT Operations, Subject Matter Experts, in managing, the entire supplier sourcing process, including identifying business needs, developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluating vendor proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies, primarily focusing on the solicitation and evaluation phase through the RFP process. You will coordinate the RFP preparation activities as delegated by the Proposal Manager and are responsible for a timely task completion that is not just compliant but captures the essence of the stakeholders’ requirements.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Manages proposals (RFX), including all aspects of proposal development, including pre-proposal planning activities, kick-off meeting, identifying value drivers, schedule management, action/issue tracking, proposal and RFP and submission structure, compliance oversight, writing instructions and team guidance.
- Collaborating and coordinating with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure complete and accurate proposals are sent to vendors.
- Comparing procurement options and strategies for RFPs.
- Reviews/analyzes proposal sections for consistency, clarity, compliance requirement adherence, and alignment with proposed solutions and themes and writes/re-writes proposal sections as necessary to deliver high-quality product.
- Collaborates with Business Units (BU’s) and leadership to obtain adequate resources for accomplishing a high-quality proposal submission in a timely manner.
- Manages and directs all proposal efforts to include preparation, revision, and submission; establishes and enforces the proposal schedule
- Clarifies, communicates, and enforces roles and responsibilities of the proposal team members.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to refine proposal sections to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
- Assists in the development and refinement of templates and standardized processes to streamline proposal development.
- Provides daily/weekly/monthly updates regarding proposal progress to team.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Leads/facilitates/drives the discussion during strategy sessions with subject matter experts.
- Remains current on all solicitation modifications and communicates them to the team.
- Revises schedule, outline, and updates timeline as necessary throughout proposal life cycle.
- Understands different pricing models and vendor price comparison.
- Work under "hybrid" office model within the encouraged work hours and schedule including required meetings and timely attendance.
- Work performed primarily in an office environment, consisting of light to moderate physical activity, including use of computer, telephone and/or other office equipment.

What You Can Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in Procurement/RFX management (project management skillset a plus).
