Role Overview:

Could you be our next Account Manager (GLGB)? Globe Life is looking for an Account Manager (GLGB) to join the team!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the effective management of assigned employer group clients through relationship building, account administration, renewal coordination, and issue resolution. This role works in close partnership with Senior Account Managers and Globe Life Group Benefits (GLGB)’s Third Party Administrator (TPA) partners, who handle day-to-day policy administration, to ensure seamless and professional client experience.

 

This is a remote / work from home position.

 

What You Will Do:

Client Relationship Management

Serve as a support partner for assigned employer group clients, assisting with issue resolution, reporting requests, and renewal preparation.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts and broker partners.

Proactively communicate with clients regarding account status, policy updates, and renewal timelines.

Coordinate with internal teams and external TPA partners to facilitate smooth client interactions and service delivery.

 

Account Administration & Support

Collaborate with Underwriting and TPAs to complete policy change requests and assist in the preparation of client renewal packages.

Proactively identify and escalate potential client issues, as well as opportunities for account growth or administrative process improvement.

Support the preparation of client-specific reports by working with TPAs to gather and validate relevant data.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records and documentation in Salesforce.

 

Issue Resolution

Partner with TPAs to research, investigate, and resolve client inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner.

Track the status of open issues, ensure follow-up actions are completed, and maintain client satisfaction throughout the process.

Document resolution outcomes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

 

What You Can Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience in insurance, benefits administration, or client services.
  • Previous exposure to insurance, employee benefits, or B2B account management is strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor for client-facing interactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data management and client documentation.
  • Customer service orientation with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and coordinate across departments.
  • Basic understanding of group insurance products and administrative concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred but not required.
