Role Overview:

Could you be our next Shipping Clerk? Globe Life is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing policies and checks for FedEx shipping, quality-checking policy print, preparing materials for assembly, and folding and inserting print for mailing to policyholders.

This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain reporting and documentation of workflow and balancing procedures.
  • Balance, prepare, and assemble policy print for daily mailing.
  • Check in daily print by ensuring balances to reports.
  • Perform policy pulls and special handling from email requests.
  • Perform communications via email related to policy print.
  • Place assembled policies in mail trays and place in dedicated mail prep area.
  • Keep daily records of policies assembled.
  • Meet daily production goals set by management.
  • Manage daily FedEx shipments of Liberty National Life (LNL) policies to over 250 branches nationwide, including documents and checks to both branches and policyholders.
  • Update FedEx system with any address changes.
  • Gather and prepare material for intercompany shipment (pouch) from GMS to McKinney and/or downtown.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

What You Can Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some office experience or policy assembling experience helpful but not required.
  • Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter.
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Must be team-oriented, accountable, reliable, and courteous.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds frequently and repeatedly.
  • Must have quality control awareness.
  • Must be able to meet minimum quotas set by management.
  • Must be able to adapt to flexibility in job assignments.
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
