Role Overview:

Could you be our next Business Investigation Analyst? Globe Life is looking for a Business Investigation Analyst to join the team!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into potential irregularities within Globe Life’s New Business and Underwriting process. This role is focused on detecting, analyzing, and mitigating potential fraud risks, misrepresentation, and process breakdowns that may compromise the quality and integrity of business practices. The ideal candidate will combine investigative expertise with strong knowledge of life insurance operations to help safeguard business operations.

 

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday). Remote will be considered for the right candidate.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct detailed investigations of flagged applications, underwriting discrepancies, and unusual activity.
  • Analyze data and documentation to identify patterns of fraud, misrepresentation, or non-compliance.
  • Partner with Underwriting, Compliance, and Legal teams to assess findings and determine resolutions.
  • Document case findings in a clear, organized, and concise manner while providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of fraud detection tools, monitoring systems, and prevention strategies.
  • Deliver insights and training to business partners on fraud trends, vulnerabilities, and mitigation practices.
  • Participate in risk assessments and quality reviews to improve control effectiveness across New Business and Underwriting.
  • Support training initiatives by providing insights into common fraud schemes and control weaknesses.

 

What You Can Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, Insurance, Audit, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in investigations, fraud analysis, or compliance, preferably in life insurance or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting practices, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Investigative mindset with a keen attention to detail and ability to think critically.
  • Experience with investigative tools, databases, and reporting platforms.
  • Detailed oriented and highly organized.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
  • Access, SQL, Visio, Tableau, and Project experience a plus.
