Role Overview:

Could you be our next Digital Press Operator – Cut Sheet? Globe Life is looking for a Digital Press Operator – Cut Sheet to join the team!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for printing Administration and Direct Response cut sheet jobs for multiple Globe Life subsidiary companies according to established SLA’s. You will ensure that all policies and procedures that govern safety and quality are adhered too as directed by management. Operators will be responsible for keeping the workflow moving while work is available and will perform preventative maintenance and will assist with trouble shooting print errors and issues as needed.

 

This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor digital laser computer print queues (software) for various system issues, such as feed jams, paper stock, system issues, and release jobs for daily print orders according to relative priorities.
  • Work with other Digital Press Operators to organize efficient workflow as changing conditions warrant.
  • Pull needed paper shells for the shift from warehouse inventory and return unused shells to proper inventory locations.
  • Load Press with appropriate paper shells as necessary.
  • Load toner into the press as necessary.
  • Jog the Paper, Box & Label the Print correctly.
  • Verify print output for proper image quality and correctness according to department procedures and reprint if needed.
  • Deliver printed orders to various departments in the building.
  • Package and prepare daily pouches to various Globe Life Inc. Subsidiaries.
  • Fill out and submit daily shift report for cross shift and management communication.
  • Notify on-site third-party technicians in the event of needed repairs & complete associated documentation.
  • Perform volume-based maintenance on the press (clear paper jams, clean surfaces, clear paper dust from optics) and diagnose errors and/or production problems.
  • Monitor and unload print output of Roll Fed Digital Press while Roll Fed Press Operator is on break/lunch.

 

What You Can Bring:

  • 3+ years of previous print, press or production equipment experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years college, trade school or Vo-tech experience or combination of education and work experience.
  • PC knowledge is required including experience in Microsoft Office Email and Excel applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
  • Must be able to maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical, mechanical and problem solving aptitude.
  • Sound basic math skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, & disciplined to stay on task.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Consistently detail oriented & thorough.
