Role Overview:
Could you be our next Data Analyst I? Globe Life is looking for a Data Analyst I to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across the company. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, develop analytical solutions, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
This is a remote / work-from-home position.
What You Will Do:
- Utilize analytics and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or R, to identify trends, analyze patterns, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement or process streamlining.
- Clean and prepare data from various sources to ensure its accuracy and readiness for reporting and analysis.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Create and disseminate routine and ad hoc reports that effectively track and measure KPIs.
- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Interpret business unit trends and translate those insights into actionable recommendations.
- Present data findings and insights to management, ensuring that data-driven recommendations are understood and can be acted upon.
- Analyze business processes and operations to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and improvement.
What You Can Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or related field. Specialized certifications for programming languages or data analysis techniques are a plus.
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, Python, R and data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw conclusions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
