Role Overview:

Could you be our next Investment Operations Assistant? Globe Life is looking for an Investment Operations Assistant to join the team!

This role is responsible for bridging the gap between back-office operations and department support. The position requires strong administrative skills with a high proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF programs. This role requires a passion for doing quality work and the ability to handle sensitive information and confidential data with the utmost integrity.

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate the closing and settlement of private placements and mortgages.
  • Manage Limited Partnership (LP) documentation and execution of subscription agreements.
  • Perform mandatory wire callbacks to verify payment instructions and prevent fraudulent activity.
  • Maintain Documentation for financial compliance: W9s, QIB forms, AML, KYC.
  • Handle department-wide procurement of supplies and services; manage monthly expense reporting and reconciliation for the investment team.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, including room prep, agenda distribution, and catering. Serve as the first point of contact for guests and manage visitor check-in
  • Proactively manage complex calendars for senior leadership, including booking domestic and international travel and high-profile conferences.
  • Assist with ad-hoc operational audits or administrative tasks as required by the Operations Manager.

What You Can Bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with focus on Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience within financial services, private equity or wealth management.
  • 3+ years of experience in an investment or financial department role preferred.
  • Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) skills required.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently and know when to ask for help.
  • Ability to identify and understand confidential information and maintain related company protocols.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required.
  • Strong ability to multitask and maintain accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
