Role Overview:

Could you be our next Senior Manager of Video Production? Globe Life is looking for a Senior Manager of Video Production to join the team!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a video production team to tell impactful and compelling stories through video that make people care and engage on a personal level. Additionally, the Senior Manager of Video Production is responsible for identifying project needs, organizing resources for video production, and scheduling and communicating details. This role oversees videographers, producers, editors, motion graphic artists, and occasional freelance positions.

 

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

 

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate the activities of producers, videographers, editors, writers, motion graphics, and other personnel
  • throughout the video production process.
  • Oversee creation of project specific freelance talent such as voice-overs, motion graphics, and other media.
  • Organize a video project’s schedule, needs, resources, and talent.
  • Travel throughout North America (but not limited to).
  • Control the production budget and allocate resources.
  • Research video trends, assess ideas, and review finished scripts.
  • Monitor post-production processes to ensure accurate completion of all details.
  • Interview talent and clients for narrative stories and productions.
  • Lead a team to establish project deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple company divisions, internal clients, team members, and marketing
  • department to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
  • Maintain project status in project management software.
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise during production.
  • Adhere to branding guidelines for all areas of video.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes of practice and health and safety laws.

What You Can Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast, Telecommunications, or Video Production from four-year college or
  • university.
  • Must have 10 years of professional video production experience.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple video production projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience of managing a video production team of salaried and freelance professionals.
  • A history of producing videos and leading teams.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, Mac and PC operating systems.
  • Adobe Creative Suite Certification preferred.
  • Must be able to learn new technologies and become a power user.
  • Creative vision to take fundamental concepts into engaging productions.
  • Editorial judgement for video projects.
  • Generative Video AI experience (conceptualizing, storyboarding, and prompting).
  • Ability to create presentations and pitch them to executives and internal clients.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Online and broadcast content creation and distribution experience.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a
  • team environment, and an aptitude for making quick, quality decisions.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
