Role Overview:
Could you be our next Corporate Communications Manager? Globe Life is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance employee engagement. An innovative problem solver will manage campaigns, projects, and content across all communications channels. This creative contributor may manage others and act as a business partner to internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The right candidate will be responsible for improving processes, streamlining resources, maximizing efficiencies, and implementing solutions for the internal Corporate Communications team. Maintaining professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy across all levels of the organization is essential.
As a brand ambassador, this individual must understand Corporate Communications best practices while upholding Globe Life’s mission, values, and brand standards. They will ensure that processes and procedures are upheld from beginning to end, including content development, proofing and approval documentation, and publishing across all platforms.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Develop, implement, measure, and track communications strategies that align with Company goals, values, and mission.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote initiatives, inform, and engage.
- Oversee enterprise content schedule and coordinate with the Corporate Communications team and leadership.
- Identify gaps, offer solutions, and innovate to maximize response across all channels, including digital signage, employee intranet, newsletter, alerts, press releases, and email.
- Manage, research, and develop campaigns.
- Contributes to and/or oversees special projects as assigned.
What You Can Bring:
- 3-5 years corporate communications, marketing, or journalism experience.
- Workfront, Workday, Intranet platforms, Canva, M365, SnapComms, and Airtable experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, strategic communications, English, or equivalent.
- Experienced in working in fast-paced environment.
- Works well under pressure.
- Strong follow-up and attention to detail and possesses a sense of urgency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects independently.
- Strong project management, content development, proofreading, and research skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Flexible and able to switch focus to different projects when business demands change.
- Ability to prioritize projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time.
- Comfortable communicating with all levels within the organization, including senior management.
