Role Overview:
Could you be our next Vendor Performance Analyst? Globe Life is looking for a Vendor Performance Analyst to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with developing strategic relationships to help Globe Life become a "customer of choice" to improve access to limited capacity, superior support, and innovation. This position is responsible for assistance with documentation, maintenance and management of ongoing activities related to the vendor management program. This will include vendor review and setup, vendor lifecycle activities, delivering interpretation advice, reporting, and resolving issues through effective partnering with internal stakeholders and vendors. This level of support will ensure Globe Life receives the intended value from the agreement, and we continue to enhance our relationship with core vendors.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Participate in department meetings to discuss organizational objectives.
- Prepares status reports and presentations. create and distribute ad-hoc reports.
- Maintain program project plan, schedules, and team collaboration tools.
- Develop and maintain processes, procedures, tools, and templates, & vendor artifacts.
- Enhance and maintain vendor scorecards and maintain vendor surveys & reporting.
- Monitoring vendor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Help establish and maintain vendor performance improvement plans.
- Ensure accurate vendor risk ratings are completed on a regular basis.
- Provide vendor data governance & information management support.
- Establish and maintain vendor management analytics & reporting dashboards.
- Research, collection, tracking and reporting of vendor service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain information in the vendor management system.
- Track escalated issues and reporting of root cause analysis.
- Manage the archive and cataloging processes for all VMO documents.
- Perform financial analysis vendor health checks.
- Assist the team in the collection and analysis of vendor information.
- Perform spend data analysis as directed by the Sr. Vendor Manager.
What You Can Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business, analytical, or technical discipline preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or related role.
- Attention to detail with analytical skills and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and Outlook experience.
- Adaptable to challenging environments and comfortable with shifting priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and assignments.
- Able to work with moderate to minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Able to maintain an important level of confidentiality.
- Ability to be a creative self-starter and have a solutions-based mind frame.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Dynamic/flexible demeanor with exceptional customer service skills.
- Flexibility with schedule to ensure that all deadlines are met.
- Must be self-motivated and possess a sense of urgency.

- Gather, analyze, and report metrics to Vendor Management Manager and key stakeholders on identified SLAs, regulatory metrics and key performance indicator surveys related to vendor performance.
- Maintain thorough understanding services provided by the vendor and translate into business context for stakeholders.
- Remain current on industry developments as they relate to vendor management programs and best practices.
- Maintain high quality of service to both internal and external customers.
- Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures to facilitate and improve operational efficiencies.
- Provide training and support for vendor management program.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
