Role Overview:

Could you be our next Sr. HR Business Partner? Globe Life is looking for an experienced Sr. HR Business Partner to join the team!

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of all HR Corporate programs and processes at Globe Life, in line with its development strategy.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will have a strong focus on DEI, talent development, compensation, and talent acquisition strategy, and will serve as a trusted advisor for issues pertaining to employee relations, engagement and retention, and succession planning.

 

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

 

What You Will Do:

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of client organizations and business operations to foster strong and productive relationships with internal stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Spearhead organizational design projects, optimizing structures, roles, and processes to enhance agility, efficiency, and responsiveness to dynamic business needs.
  • Proactively evaluate business and organizational performance, offering consultative insights and driving actionable recommendations through a persuasive "influence without authority" approach.
  • Provide coaching to business leaders on HR policies and processes, encompassing talent planning, learning and development, and performance management, fostering a culture of continuous growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with DE&I Subject Matter Experts to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives both personally and programmatically, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive organizational culture.
  • Systematically assess organizational performance, identify talent gaps, and propose HR solutions aligning with client business objectives.
  • Plan and facilitate work sessions to develop business strategies, including vision, mission, values, and objectives, promoting organizational focus, efficiency, and business results.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent management lifecycle, covering forecasting, staffing, onboarding, development, performance management, career/succession planning, talent movement, and retention, supported by robust workforce analytics.
  • Lead strategic partnerships with recruitment, emphasizing the acquisition and retention of top talent while building pipelines for future needs.
  • Assess employee training and development needs aligned with business strategy, bridging gaps between current and future skill sets.
  • Partner with key specialty HR partners (DE&I, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards) to inform and develop holistic HR strategies.
  • Potentially lead a small team of HR professionals, emphasizing career growth, employee engagement, and well-being through coaching, guidance, and development initiatives.

 

What You Can Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting, organization development, training, or related talent management field.
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to coach leaders and managers at all levels of the organization on personal and team development.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage multiple, complex, competing priorities.
  • Experience providing HR business partnership to Customer facing orgs.
  • Proven ability to drive change management in a rapidly scaling environment.
  • Expertise in navigating within ambiguous situations, with high levels of autonomy.
  • Experience identifying, designing, and deploying HR interventions within the business.
  • Demonstrated experience and a passion for strong collaboration with others (People team COEs, cross-functional partners, HRBP peers, etc.) to build world class teams.
  • Experience influencing and advising executives on talent and employment situations.
