Role Overview:

Could you be our next Associate Claim Examiner? Globe Life is looking for a Associate Claim Examiner to join the team!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for front-end claim tasks designed to initiate workflow process and interact with customer on first contact issues.

 

This is a remote / work from home position.

 

What You Will Do:

·       Promptly and accurately index newly reported claims which are received either by RightFax, or paper mail.

·       As business need dictates, organize and prepare paper mail for scanning.

·       Initiate and document all First Occurrence phone calls to customers and report results to leadership weekly.

·       Provide assistance in requesting additional information needed to process claim from members and providers.

·       Complete check pull reports each morning.

·       Meet and/or exceed established standards for productivity and quality.

·       Concurrently access multiple databases, software programs, and/or online tools to perform required job functions.

·       Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions.

·       Support and participate in all mandatory compliance trainings.

·       Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.

·       Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

What You Can Bring:

·       Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

·       Ability to compile and review information to make sound decisions.

·       Strong interpersonal skills.

·       Excellent typing skills.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word) and other basic computer programs.

·       Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented approach to work.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to thrive in fast paced environment while working independently and with limited supervision.

·       Positive team-oriented attitude with flexibility to adjust to changes as they arise.
