Role Overview:

Could you be our next Talent Acquisition Manager? Globe Life is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manger to join the team!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for creating strong internal business partner relationships to meet our hiring goals and be their trusted partner for all things talent acquisition. You will have a passion for keeping abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to remain competitive and deliver a world-class experience to our partners and candidates. In this role, you and your team will design and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent for critical growth businesses at Globe Life.

 

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

 

What You Will Do:

  • In partnership with executive leadership and business partners, set the course for the corporate talent acquisition team to ensure the needs of the business are met through full time and contract recruiting.
  • Create a culture of inspiration, empowerment and inclusion.
  • Invest in and elevate your team to greatness.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters, including helping them creatively customize successful search strategies to drive individual and team results.
  • Partner with Globe Life leaders to monitor progress against open positions and ensure recruiter efficiency.
  • Establish, track, and analyze metrics and report on progress to business leadership, as requested.
  • Own ongoing strategic development of recruiting processes: identifying competitive landscapes, providing insight on competitive benchmarking, defining candidate populations, tracking legal developments and emerging trends, and refining the employer brand.
  • Jump into problem solve and navigate ambiguous and complex situations autonomously, while weighing the various risks and potential implications.
  • Lead sourcing strategies through a variety of sourcing channels including the use of social media with an emphasis on passive candidate attraction and maximizing the benefits of social recruiting tools.
  • Manage, leverage, and challenge existing recruiting strategies, methods, and systems to generate a proactive and efficient approach to sourcing, assessing, and on-boarding qualified talent.
  • Drive operational efficiencies through clearly identified and measured performance metrics.
  • Nurture a culture of service, credibility and partnership.
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in a fast paced, team-based environment while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
  • Provide subject matter leadership, including engagement and thought leadership for the company.

 

What You Can Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of recent experience leading talent acquisition and full lifecycle recruiting in a corporate or in-house function.
  • Experience managing recruiting staff to include coaching, performance reviews, problem resolution, process compliance and reporting.
  • Proven track record in all full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Strong knowledge of current trends, innovations and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within Workday ATS preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with project teams and clients.
  • Experience consulting, presenting, and communicating with executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical, creative thinking, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required, including willingness to attend industry events.
