Sr. PAS Quality Assurance Analyst (Onsite or Hybrid)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


The Sr PAS Quality Assurance Analyst works across multiple PODs as needed to support the overall testing needs of the program including test planning, test execution, E2E testing and test automation.

The goal of this position is to utilize software Quality Assurance/Quality Control best practices, as well as team collaborative efforts to produce a superior software experience to the end user prior to and concluding a successful production implementation.


  • Develop test strategies, create test plans, execute functional/regression/integration/performance test to include hands-on experience reviewing test documentation and test results
  • Execute all functional/regression/integration/performance tests according to test plans and scripts, document results, and quickly identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Responsible for the validation of all End User documentation prior to delivery of the project
  • Coordinate Defect/Issue Resolution among other teams so that defects are resolved and reported to management on a recurring basis
  • Review test cases and develop automation test scripts
  • Manage project workloads, schedules, scope and deadlines to eliminate constraints and ensure that customer needs and project metrics are met
  • Write complex SQL queries for testing and data mining purposes
  • Participate in testing a variety of data warehouses (cloud and on-prem), ODS and other data marts where appropriate
  • Work with automation test engineering team to implement automation in entire life cycle of policies
  • Develop application testing project plans, estimates, timelines and status reporting
  • Works with management to establish application testing goals, strategies and plans
  • Develop automation test scripts
  • Take ownership of overall Quality Assurance success
  • Team player who collaborates with others & provided motivation to other team members

  • Identify, recommend, and implement standardization and industry best practices
  • Overcome project obstacles with ease and escalate quickly when appropriate

  • Collaborate and coordinate across the PAS Program Team to identify and resolve issues
  • Provide input to business, development, BA/TA, interface and ancillary teams as needed
  • Multi-task across multiple features and PAS releases

  • Risks that would impact the delivery of the assigned tasks on schedule are immediately communicated to the project management and/or program management team

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SSAS, Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing
  • Ability to apply Object-Oriented analysis and design
  • Exposure to Data Modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio

Required Knowledge & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years as QA analyst experience
  • Life insurance background and experience required
  • Oracle OIPA (Oracle Insurance Policy Administration Solution) knowledge a plus
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
  • Certifications in QA or Scrum Master desired
  • Hands on experience handling complex project deliverables with significant leadership responsibilities
  • Schedule - Onsite or Hybrid (WFH/Remote - Monday and Friday) & (In Office - Tuesday thru Thursday)

Short-Term Disability - Eligible employees may be entitled to salary continuance during periods of temporary disability. Benefits are based on employee status and years of service.*

Group Life and Long-Term Disability** - Eligible employees may elect life insurance and long-term disability coverage the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service.

Vacation and Paid Holidays - Employees are eligible for vacation upon the completion of six months of employment. In addition, the Company offers eight paid holidays.

Education Assistance - The Company supports employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers. We offer a reimbursement program for expenses incurred through approved institutions of learning. In addition, Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and International Claim Association (ICA) program courses are offered after the completion of six months of services at no cost to the employee.

Fitness Reimbursement - Eligible employees are able to receive up to 100% reimbursement for monthly dues (employee only).
