Agency Development Planning Analyst

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The Agency Development Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of Agency Development Planning. Responsibilities include; generating periodic reports, conducting routine analytics, and ad-hoc data analysis to support Executive/Senior Management decision-making.  The position is an individual contributor role.  This position has a hybrid schedule with an on-site schedule to the corporate office located in McKinney, Tx 3 days a week in office, 2 days WAH.  

 

  • Provide support to the Agency Development department including the timely creation/assembling of weekly/monthly/yearly reports, assuring data integrity, and communicating with Agency Owners/Sales Leadership Team.
  • Improving upon and streamlining existing data analytics/reporting processes.
  • Identify and improve departmental inefficiencies
  • Routinely communicate and explain reports and data findings to Management
  • Routinely conduct and report deep dive analyses of business trends, incentive results, and general sales and recruiting activity.
  • Collaborate with Management on data projects and work effectively across departments to facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Serve as a resource to team members and applicable stakeholders on assignments and projects.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce workloads and reporting redundancies.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Manage details and execute effective follow through
  • Strong task and time management skills.
  • Experience working in both individual and team environments
  • Action oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrate initiative by proactively identifying what needs to be done.
  • Flexible and able to effectively handle last minute changes and requests and adapt to fast pace environment with tight deadlines.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Audit
  • 3-5 years of experience in a business analysis, process improvement, audit, or other related field
  • Experienced working with sensitive information and maintaining confidences

Participation is elected on a calendar year basis and is available to all eligible employees the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of continuous service. Company contributes to HSA.

Short-Term Disability - Eligible employees may be entitled to salary continuance during periods of temporary disability. Benefits are based on employee status and years of service.*

Group Life and Long-Term Disability** - Eligible employees may elect life insurance and long-term disability coverage the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service.

Vacation and Paid Holidays - Employees are eligible for vacation upon the completion of six months of employment. In addition, the Company offers eight paid holidays.

Education Assistance - The Company supports employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers. We offer a reimbursement program for expenses incurred through approved institutions of learning. In addition, Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and International Claim Association (ICA) program courses are offered after the completion of six months of services at no cost to the employee.

Fitness Reimbursement - Eligible employees are able to receive up to 100% reimbursement for monthly dues (employee only).

Supplemental Plans** - Cancer, Heart/Stroke, Accident.
