Promotional Products Manager

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Globe Life is looking for a dynamic Promotional Products Manager to work within the Event Marketing team and serve as a liaison to Globe Life and its subsidiaries. This role will primarily be responsible for procuring creatively branded merchandise, event giveaways and promotional items, achievement awards and unique gifts across the organization. Other key deliverables include, maintaining online stores, managing vendors and staff while guiding our promotional program to the next level with industry best practices. Candidate should be a creative self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an expert grasp on the logistics required to move sourced products to end recipients.  

 

  • Vendor management of all merchandise vendors supporting Globe Life events and programs
  • Manage multiple programs directly: IT MVP Quarterly Award, LND Retirement Awards, LND Anniversary program, LND Monthly Recognition plaques, LND Monthly Director plaques, LND PRO Club level awards (silver, gold, platinum, black)
  • Direct management of the Event Logistics Coordinator in procuring and confirming various awards across the organization
  • Procure all awards for various affiliate purposes including rings and sketches for Councils and more
  • Assist with all meeting promotional products, which consist of ordering Legacy awards, March Madness awards, specialty awards, ordering theme promotional items and gifts, coordinating multiple t-shirt programs
  • Source/purchase promotional items, gifts and apparel for all subsidiaries that includes contests, events, holidays, meetings, sporting events or conventions
  • Source all subsidiary Council gifts
  • Manage online merchandise stores with product selection, branding, reordering and inventory
  • Lead collaborator with other departments on promotional product needs and requirements
  • Coordination of internal and external action items on assigned projects
  • Propose new ideas to improve planning and implementation process
  • Assist with special events or projects that come up with planning, sourcing, ordering and executing as needed

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills within Marketing department, external departments and outside vendors
  • College degree
  • 5+ years of experience in promotional product/merchandise management
  • Graphic and web design skills a plus

Participation is elected on a calendar year basis and is available to all eligible employees the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of continuous service. Company contributes to HSA.

Short-Term Disability - Eligible employees may be entitled to salary continuance during periods of temporary disability. Benefits are based on employee status and years of service.*

Group Life and Long-Term Disability** - Eligible employees may elect life insurance and long-term disability coverage the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service.

Vacation and Paid Holidays - Employees are eligible for vacation upon the completion of six months of employment. In addition, the Company offers eight paid holidays.

Education Assistance - The Company supports employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers. We offer a reimbursement program for expenses incurred through approved institutions of learning. In addition, Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and International Claim Association (ICA) program courses are offered after the completion of six months of services at no cost to the employee.

Fitness Reimbursement - Eligible employees are able to receive up to 100% reimbursement for monthly dues (employee only).

Supplemental Plans** - Cancer, Heart/Stroke, Accident.
